The Pancer Tani Journey of Mrs. Sulikah, a Strong Vegetable Seller Woman

We met Ms. Sulikah from our Financial Literacy and Family Health Training for Women Farmers held in Wajak, East Java, on November 30, 2023, and collaborated with Global Giving and Corteva.  Seeing her high spirit and willingness to develop her business, we encouraged her to work together through the Pancer Tani program.

This mother of 2, has been selling fresh vegetables in her stall for 2 years. She felt that her business needed to be developed, both in terms of sales and marketing. This is aligned with the benefits of the Pancer Tani program. Accompanied by our field officers, Mrs. Sulikah then registered and officially became a Pancer Tani member on January 29, 2023, after carrying out the YASI Academy Training.

Now accompanied by field officers, she is guided to be able to analyze, develop, get market access, and get access to loans for her business. She hopes that her business will grow and be able to become an example for women agripreneurs in her area.

Mrs. Sulikah became 1 of 212 Pancer Tani Women, with a total of 775 Pancer Tani we assisted, spread across Lampung, West Java, East Java, and East Nusa Tenggara. YASI also implements the seed2B program or Quality Seed Development Program, crop cultivation programs, and participates in the distribution of the Weather Parametric Based Agricultural Insurance program.
