Yayasan Agri Sustineri Indonesia

Yayasan Agri Sustineri Indonesia (YASI), didirikan pada tahun 2020, adalah organisasi nirlaba yang berfokus pada pertanian berkelanjutan dan kesejahteraan petani kecil di Indonesia. Berbasis di Jakarta, YASI menjalankan program inovatif seperti Pancer Tani untuk mendorong kewirausahaan pedesaan dan menghubungkan petani dengan pasar.

Our Impact

Program Impact Report

Starting from its affiliation with an international NGO, and subsequently establishing YASI in 2020, our programs have reached 750,866 farmers—34% of whom (256,600) are women. We have also conducted approximately 1,000 outreach and training activities focused on skill development, knowledge sharing, and the promotion of sustainable practices in rural communities across Indonesia, including Lampung, East Java, West Java, and East Nusa Tenggara Provinces. YASI has established strong networks and best practices across 270 villages, 110 sub-districts, and 21 districts.

Yayasan Agri Sustineri Indonesia (YASI) is actively contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as registered with Bappenas, particularly Goals 1 (No Poverty), 2 (Zero Hunger), 5 (Gender Equality), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), 13 (Climate Action), and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). Through its inclusive programs in sustainable agriculture, YASI empowers smallholder farmers, promotes food security, supports women's leadership in farming communities, drives green economic opportunities for rural youth, and strengthens climate resilience. YASI also builds strategic partnerships across sectors to scale its impact and drive systemic change toward a more sustainable and equitable future.

5 Strategic Issues :

Youth Agripreneur :

Revitalizing Rural Economy: Create and mentor 1,018 young agripreneurs micro business with an average age of 35 – 38 years old. This program also succeeds increasing their income approximately 20-30% and create 2.226 jobs.

Climate Resilience :

Parametric-Based Agricultural Insurance: Successfully protected 5.098 hectares of rice fields, with 4.907 farmers purchasing insurance policies. Seedling Enterprises for Horticulture and Specialty Crops: Supported the development of 117 seedling businesses, including the production of 8,000 metric tons of organic fertilizer.

Development of Appropriate Agricultural Technology (Upstream to Downstream) :

Producing 7,698 tons of certified seeds (potatoes, soybeans, hybrid corn) from trained and mentoring seed growers' business. Small livestock Farming Business integrated small mechanization for seed planter, harvester, pre- and post-harvest.

Empowerment of Women and Persons with Disabilities :

Supporting 67 people with disabilities and 212 women micro business, with 1,383 woman and disabilities receiving specialized training.

Improving the Quality of Life for Farming Families :

Apart from good practices agricultural training and demos, we also empower smallholder farmers and rural communities with several training such as family health, nutrition, and family financial literacy.
