Small scale Ag Technology (From Upstream to Downstream)
YASI is committed to introducing and developing technology from upstream to downstream. The development of the agriculture encourages YASI to continue to innovate in implementing programs that include good agricultural practices, mini mobile drip irrigation – water management, transplanters – seedling and planting, land preparation, harvesting, product grading, net house for quality seedling nursery and seeds production, livestock (fattening and breeding), aeroponic and hydroponic planting systems, access to germplasm, variety and adaptation trials including product evaluation report (potato, soybean, corn hybrid and others)
How We Create and Train Local Seed Producers
Access to quality seeds is still limited for small farmers, therefore Agricultural Technology Development is here to help farmers with various programs.

Development of Farmers / Seed Producers
We train, educate and mentor local seed producers, helping them to obtain certification. This way, seed producers can increase their income and better serve smallholder farmers.

Technical Support
We provide technical support and inputs on seed production to seed producers and related parties that have a multiplier effect. Technical support includes designing Standard Operating Procedures, guiding the development of variety profiles, and facilitating the creation of new supply chains.

Technology Transfer
To small farmers, we introduce technologies that can help them improve production quality and meet market demand with certified seeds.

Field Trial
We conduct field adaptation trials of new superior varieties to different weather conditions. These trials include testing different agronomic techniques and assessing resistance to pests and diseases. The goal is to provide farmers with more choices and higher yields.
