YASI's Achievements
The Pancer Tani program achieved extraordinary success in 2023. The latest data shows active participation from 772 agricultural business owners, with sales turnover of IDR 115 billion. Diversity is clearly visible in these figures, with 212 businesses owned by women, 67 businesses owned by people with disabilities, and the rest owned by young individuals with an average age of 35 years.
Spread across four provinces, 21 districts, 110 sub-districts, and more than 270 villages, the program covers six diverse agricultural service businesses, including farmer kiosks, seed nurseries, organic fertilizer production, mechanization businesses, agricultural product trading, and livestock farming. YASI has successfully reached 164,000 farmers, supported the production of quality seeds (hybrid corn seeds, potato seeds, and soybean seeds) of 1,189 tons, and facilitated the production of 3,331 tons of organic fertilizer. In addition, 416 hectares of rice fields are protected by agricultural insurance (dry season 2023), providing benefits to 623 farmers who registered and purchased insurance policies through Pancer Tani.
Pancer Tani is not only a catalyst for economic growth but also has a positive social impact. In 2023, this program will open new jobs for 389 workers, contributing to reducing unemployment rates. Meanwhile, our field team has organized 705 capacity building activities (training) of various types related to agriculture and non-agriculture, such as cultivation, post-harvest, financial literacy, family health, marketing branding, and others, to 5,645 farmers. Pancer Tani has developed into an agent of change that not only develops economic potential but also Pancer Tani builds businesses in rural areas and brings positive changes to society.
