Yayasan Agri Sustineri Indonesia (YASI) has been committed from the outset to empowering rural communities through relevant and sustainable programs. Along this journey, YASI recognizes that significant change cannot be achieved through a sectoral approach alone, but rather through cross-sector collaboration involving multiple stakeholders. One of the initiatives YASI has undertaken to realize this vision is its engagement in implementing Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships (MSP) in Timor Tengah Selatan (TTS) Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), and Lampung Province. MSP is an approach that brings together various stakeholders—including government, civil society, the private sector, and international organizations—to jointly address complex issues, integrate diverse perspectives, and achieve more holistic solutions.
As part of this initiative, YASI serves as a facilitator connecting multiple actors and ensuring that the voices of rural communities—particularly farmers, women, and persons with disabilities—remain central to every policy decision. With deep experience in rural community empowerment, YASI ensures that each MSP program is not only policy-driven but also responsive to real needs on the ground. YASI’s key focus areas in TTS and Lampung include agriculture, climate change mitigation, and the empowerment of women and persons with disabilities, all of which contribute to improving community well-being.
YASI’s overarching hope through its involvement in MSP is to establish a more inclusive, effective, and impactful
empowerment model. By integrating the interests of various stakeholders, YASI strives to ensure that each solution
developed delivers sustainable benefits for all layers of rural society—particularly in enhancing food security, tackling
climate change, and improving the quality of life for farming families.
MSP allows YASI to optimize available resources and design more efficient and well-coordinated programs. Through
cross-sector collaboration strengthened by the MSP approach, YASI aims to inspire more organizations and stakeholders
to adopt collaborative methods in driving positive societal change.
Looking ahead, YASI is committed to expanding this network of collaboration to the national and international levels,
reinforcing efforts to empower rural communities across Indonesia. With the spirit of togetherness embedded in the MSP
approach, YASI firmly believes that sustainable and meaningful transformation for rural communities can be achieved—
for a better future.
